Providing a Helping Hand to People in the Northeast Kingdom Battling Cancer
Our Mission
Founded in 2022, NEKCAN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We’re committed to raising funds and providing direct grant assistance to individuals in our community who are battling cancer. Since our founding, NEKCAN has distributed over $250,000 in grants to neighbors across the NEK — including more than $96,000 in 2025 alone — helping ease the financial burden of treatment so recipients can focus on what matters most: healing and hope.
